Ian has worked for various Ambulance Services since 1995, and qualified as a Paramedic in 2000, having studied at the Southern Ambulance College in Chippenham, Wiltshire.
After 4 years working for London Ambulance Service at their Westminster Station, he spent 5 years in the Caribbean, working for the Cayman Islands Emergency Medical Services, before returning to the island, where he was born and brought up.
In addition to the conventional “999” work, Ian has also spent several years working for film, tv and sports companies, providing medical cover across the UK. Ian is also a qualified clinical tutor and likes nothing more than sharing his knowledge and experience through teaching others.
Ian’s primary role within Medina Healthcare is as our Operations Manager. But when the need arises, he will work as a Paramedic seeing patients in their own homes or in the surgery in Wootton.
